Reasons to get rid of tonsils?

Don't get them taken out yet. It's a very painful procedure in recovery for just having strep throat once. If this continues for a long time in the future, then you can start thinking about it. I got my tonsils out, and it was absolutley the most horrible pain ever. I do not reccommend it at all.
