Black People: Why do Black artists make excuses for the content in their songs?

Hun, its about making money and doing what they feel soulja boy is a cartoon to me at the moment...but weezy some of his songs i relate to...along with TI., and many other rappers and singers. I can understand where you are coming from bur dont forget they are artist - they try and paint pictures with words, and the majority of them tell stories about what they have been through...
