Is it really true that the world will end in 2012 acordin to the aztec calener is this true?

i am studying the aztecs and i read that acording to their calander the world ends in 2012! im kinda creeped out cuz if it is true that sucksss! i have plans with my life im gonna have kids and a career i dont want that to be like done for! if it is true then i shall accept it and take it as a challange to either survive or as a challnge to die and find out what happens after death tell eh pweese
