Will these fish be compatible in a 30g aquarium?

Sounds okay to me, but there is a smaller chance of aggression later on with the shark and pleco. Both grow to be somewhat territorial. Although, it's good that you chose the rainbow over the redtail, because redtail sharks are more aggressive.
