Am I released from DEP when I'm cleared at MEPS?

I was in the Air Force DEP and decided to go Army....I have my reasons....but my AF recruiter won't answer my calls or anything to tell me if I was released from DEP he told me the day I decided to drop out that I can't go to another recruiter until I'm released ...well I called the AF liaison at MEPS and he said I'm cleared out of his system...so can I go talk to the Army now?
