How many people prefer electric stoves to other stoves?

We have always had electric stoves. Gas stinks and wastes heat and leaves a greasy film on pans. Some people think gas is easier to control, but electric is infinite and heats up as quick as gas because the element touches the pan. Older stoves heated slow, but new ones are fast.
