Have they found the ark of the covenant just to have it lost again this time perhaps forever?

Ethiopian monks claim rebel soldiers broke into their holy monastery and made off with the arc which the monks had been entrusted to guard for the past 5000 years. Many of the soldiers were struck dead when they came in contact with the arc but the soldiers were finally able to drag it away to regions unknown using ropes and cables by pulling it with a jeep.
