Of course there would be some tension. Your animals have known each other for a very long time, and know a strange cat has moved in. You should get it, then bring in your calmest dog, let him get used to the cat, put him out, bring in the next calmest dog, so on and so on. bring the old cat in last. then two dogs at a time. until they all know each other. it should be fine, the dogs and your cat just need to learn that the kitten is part of the family now. It works, we had a Chow Chow mix, and a Great Pyrenee Newfoundland mix. thats what we did when we got a rabbit. and both of them had killed rabbits before. we did that, and pretty soon, even out cats had gotten used to the little bunny.
